Healing Cranberry Fall Salad

Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 cups chopped baby spinach
1/2  cup sun-dried cranberries
1/2  cup Red Delicious apple slices
1/4  cup chopped walnuts
1/4  cup shredded carrots
1/4  cup raisins
1/4  cup  mayonnaise
1/4  cup sour cream
1/4  cup White Zinfandel wine
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
salt and white pepper -- to taste

1.  Combine the wine and the balsamic vinegar.
2.  Soak the raisins in the vinegar and wine solution until soft.
3.  Combine the mayonnaise and sour cream; set aside.
4.  Combine the spinach, cranberries, apple, walnuts and carrots.
5.  Fold in the cream-mayonnaise.
6.  Mix in the wine-balsamic-raisins.
7.  Mix in the honey.
8.  Serve chilled.
